MailRisk add-in Blocking sender/deleting email fails

Office 365 users may experience when blocking an email sender, after reporting an email, that the client hangs in a "Deleting email" state, while the email does not get deleted. We are currently investigating this issue.

  • We have identified the cause for this error, and have rolled out a fix. Users may have been impacted by this since 29 December. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

  • Should you still encounter any issues here, open the command prompt (in Windows), enter "ipconfig /flushdns", and then retry. This will allowed any cached DNS entries to be dismissed.

  • The issue appears to have been resolved at 12:40 CET, however it could potentially still be observed under a very limited set of circumstances. Please let us know if you experience any such issues and we will guide you through local remediation on the client.

  • The issue appears to be related to DNS as it is operated by our global provider. We have not made any changes recently which may have caused any such problem. We are monitoring the issue, but please notify support@securepractice.co if you experience this problem.

    MailRisk add-in Too many requests error

    End-users may have received an error: "Too Many Requests" when using the MailRisk add-in. This was due to one of our components becoming overloaded.

  • Capacity on the affected component was increased, and the issue appears to be resolved. The situation is being monitored, and we are applying measures to prevent this from happening in the future. We apologize for any inconvenience.
