Customer portal Content fetching appears to have failed

Due to a change in our routine for fetching email contents, we have discovered a fault which appears to result in a status message saying under certain circumstances that email content is still pending, or has already failed. We are investigating this issue.

  • We found that some email parsing has failed due to the change in our routine, and these parsing jobs were backlogged without being retried automatically. We have now processed these jobs again, and also rolled out a fix which should remediate the underlying issue. The problem should therefore be fixed, but we are closely monitoring the situation.

Customer portal Some content previews are failing

There appears to be some issues with our content previews under certain circumstances, in particular PDF attachments to reported emails, but possibly also email body screenshots and simulated emails. We are investigating this issue and will update when we have something to share.

  • This issue has now been resolved, and previews should be available for all emails, also in retrospective. We apologize for any inconvenience.

  • Customer portal Notification emails held back

Due to our recent infrastructure move, we have found that some notification emails regarding users requesting feedback, as well as new correlations found, have been held back without actually being sent. This issue goes back to Saturday 15 August, and was unfortunately not discovered until today due to a similar defect in sending error notification emails to our operations team related to the same cause. We are currently working on a fix, and expect to be back to normal operations within a few hours.

  • A fix has been deployed for this issue, and we believe there should be no further issues with the email notifications related to this. We apologize for any inconvenience.
