Due to global service unavailability in Azure AD, it may currently be impossible to sign in with your Azure AD account via single-sign-on. If you need urgent access in the meantime, please contact support to disable SSO. The latest updates for this incident are available from Microsoft via https://status.azure.com

Login via SSO appears to be working again, as Microsoft reports about a drastic reduction in failure rates after deploying a fix.
